Calling all reading enthusiasts or those looking to dive into their reading journey. Every month the Vis Major Book Club meets to discuss a book and this January we are kicking the year off with Project Hail Mary.

Project Hail Mary is a 2021 science fiction novel by Andy Weir about Ryland Grace, a junior high science teacher who wakes up on a spaceship with amnesia, millions of miles from Earth, as the sole survivor of a last-ditch mission to save humanity from an extinction-level threat. The story follows his journey as he pieces together his memories and uses science to solve an interstellar mystery, encountering an alien life form along the way.
